Professor, chief physician, postgraduate student tutor, former director of department of cardiology of Beijing Temple of Heaven Hospital, beneficiary of expert allowance from the State Council; graduated from Medical Treatment Department of Beijing Medical College in 1962 (currently the medical department of Peking University) and visited Heart Disease Center of Boston University for two years of continued education in 1985 before engaging in research on cardiovascular disease at home; published 10-odd research papers in domestic and foreign magazines; winner of the second prize for scientific advancement from Beijing Municipal Government.
