Dr. Zhang graduated from China Medical University of Medical Science in Shenyang, China in 1984. He then completed his surgical residency training at Beijing Hospital, Beijing, China. Afterwards Dr. Zhang was retained at Beijing Hospital as an attending surgeon. He furthered his post-graduate training in Nutrition and received Master of Science at the Peking Union Medical College Hospital. He spent ten years at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota as a visiting scholar and research fellow in the Department of Cardiology and Anesthesiology. Prior to join Oasis international clinic, Dr. Zhang worked in Family Medicine in Beijing famous international clinic for fourteen years.
