OASIS International Hospital is dedicated to provide services for children in it's own Children's Care Center. The Department of Pediatrics is devoted to caring for the health needs of infants, children and adolescent. We have internationally and locally trained pediatricians to assist the special needs of children in a friendly and patient centered environment. The pediatric center’s goal is to promote continuity of care and family oriented decision making.
Oasis has several pediatric beds and a 4 bed NICU capabilities. Our experienced staffs are trained and skilled in children care. At Oasis Children’s Care Center, our every resource is dedicated to healing and fighting illnesses of the pediatric age group (from babies up until 18 years old).

Appointment Times
We will make every effort to see you within fifteen minutes of your scheduled appointment time. We understand that your time is as valuable as ours. Unfortunately, it is sometimes difficult to stay on schedule depending on patient’s issues and condition. We ask for your understanding if this situation arises. If the wait will be considerable, we will make every effort to inform you, preferably in advance of your coming to the office, so that you can make any necessary alternate plans.
Cancellations
If it is necessary for you to cancel a scheduled appointment, please call the office as soon as possible. This courtesy allows us to offer that time to another patient.
RANGE OF SERVICES
Designed with your concerns in mind, the pediatric center is divided into separate units for sick and well children.Additional subspecialty services are available to treat more complex cases.
PREVENTIVE CARE VISITS
Staying healthy is our primary goal. To keep track of children’s growth and development, it is highly recommended for children to have their routine scheduled check-up.
• First year: after birth, 1, 2, 4, 6, 9 and 12 months
• Second year: 15, 18 and 24 months
• Yearly thereafter the 2 year old visit
During the visits, issues about nutrition, vaccinations, behavior, health screening and anticipatory guidance are discussed. Any concerns about the child’s growth and development are addressed and interventions planned accordingly.
We are available for preventive care visits. To assure quality care please schedule two to four weeks in advance. If you prefer a specific provider, please be sure to let us know so that we can accommodate you.
ACUTE CARE VISITS
Illness strikes without any warning. Please keep in mind that acute care for the same day may require you to see whichever provider is available. Acute care visits will be scheduled on the same day. Problems that require IMMEDIATE attention are best addressed in an emergency room setting with our qualified physicians. If you have doubts about your child’s condition call ahead so we could advise you accordingly.
ALLERGY CLINIC
The Allergy clinic is a subspecialty unit of the Department of Pediatrics offering specialized care for the spectrum of allergic conditions namely, asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), food allergies and eczema. The clinic aims is to provide a comprehensive evaluation, expert diagnosis, treatment, patient education and follow-up for allergies.

BIRTH PLANNING
We aim help you with your birth plan to make your delivery as stress free as possible. We work closely with our OB colleagues to accommodate your needs and address your concerns before the big day.
CIRCUMCISION
Circumcision remains an elective procedure and decision should be made by the parents after physician counseling, explaining medical benefits and potential risk and considering cultural, religious and ethnic traditions.
EAR PIERCING
We offer safe and pain-less ear piercing for your child.
VACCINATION
Immunization is a good way of preventing serious and sometimes fatal complications from common illnesses. Frequency and the amount of vaccines vary from countries to countries depending on disease incidence and prevalence. For public safety there might be additional vaccines required by the local health bureau. Discuss with your pediatrician about your vaccine schedule and needs for update.
